TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

These Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with the applicable quote or invoice (“Invoice”) and the service selected by the customer. By requesting or authorizing service from TechVill Appliance Repair Ottawa (“Supplier”), the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full.

1. Amendments

Customers may not alter or amend these Terms and Conditions under any circumstances. Any such attempt will be considered null and void unless confirmed in writing and signed by both parties.

2. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada. The parties agree to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

3. Payment Terms; Interest

Unless otherwise stated in the invoice, full payment is due upon completion of service. Accepted methods of payment include credit card and other electronic forms. Invoices unpaid after 30 days will be referred to a collections agency, with a 35% fee added to the outstanding balance. Interest of 2% per month (26.82% annually) will apply to overdue accounts. Customers are also liable for legal fees incurred in the collection process.

4. Warranties and Disclaimers

(a) Any limited warranty on parts or products is subject to the warranty terms provided with the specific item. Warranty becomes valid only after full payment is received.
(b) All other express or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for purpose, are disclaimed.
(c) The Supplier’s obligation is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts or services.
(d) Supplier may revise warranty terms at any time for future transactions without prior notice.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Supplier is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business or profits. The customer waives any claims related to property damage, discomfort, or interruption of utility services, except where caused by Supplier’s willful misconduct.

6. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with referenced documents, represent the complete agreement and override any previous understandings or agreements.

7. Severability

If any part of this agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain valid and enforceable.

8. Force Majeure

Supplier is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters or supply chain disruptions.
